Let’s start at the beginning…

My inspiration behind the Modern Marthas blog launch was simple. I want to be Martha Stewart. 

Let me back up…  I want to be a non-criminal, God-fearing, old fashioned yet fresh version of the home-making Martha we all know and (some) love. I want to be my own little Modern Martha, and I know there are more of you out there who feel the same.

I’ll be sharing all my favorite ideas on recipes, decorating, crafts, DIY projects,  holiday adaptations of all of the above and MORE.
